You are the most important person!

When was the last time you did something for yourself? Darling, your horoscope, your fingerprint, or the position in which you sleep neither defines you nor your future. Absolutely no reason to spoil your mood after reading them. You are the only person who can keep yourself happy. For once, stop worrying about your bad luck because it’s written in your horoscope today that you’re gonna have a fight with someone close to you. You already have a lot to stress about, don’t let these things frustrate you anymore.

Instead pamper yourself. Your relationship with yourself is the most important one and should be prioritized over all others. Do for yourself what you would do for the people you love. Self-care is important for our physical, emotional and mental health. Indulge in that little ‘me-time’. And before you know it, you will feel loved and worthy. To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance as Oscar Wilde said.

Have a spa-day. Get manicure, pedicure, facial anything which makes you feel fresh and beautiful. Buy yourself chocolates, donuts, pizza whatever that makes your mouth water. Dance around in your underwear. Sleep in and then later eat junk food in your bed while binge-watching your favourite series all day long. Take your dog out for a walk. Get dressed, put on makeup if you want and take oodles of selfies and photographs of the things which catch your eye to post on instagram. Go out and buy that dress which gives you hearteyes. Meditate to calm your nerves after a week full of tensions. Take your car, put on loud music, go for long drive. Take a bubble bath. Sit on rooftop in the middle of the night gazing at the stars. Watch your favourite movie and eat lots of ice-cream. Any of the special things.

There is never a good time or a bad time to please yourself. Keep in mind, that no matter what you should never be guilty about wanting to being alone or spend on yourself. It does not make you selfish. Because at the end of the day, you are worth it. It is your responsibility to take care of yourself and go to bed with a big ass smile on your face.

Morning Walk: perfect way to start a day

Early morning is the most important part of the day. It’s the time when a person has a brand new day of countless possibilities for him. The time when nature’s display is at its best. The dew on grass, birds chirping, sun rays starting to fall on blooming flowers, soothing breeze. The breeze which when runs through your hair makes you hopeful and positive.

At such a time, Morning Walk would be perfect way to start your day.  These walks rejuvenate the sleepy body filling the person with new resolve to face the day ahead. It helps one to regain their physical, mental and emotional strength. Charging a person with the will to achieve great levels of happiness, satisfaction and success. It is the right opportunity to contemplate over oneself providing fresh insights to a various problem and the spirit to get to bottom of them. Solving problems can help one to feel like having one’s life in control.

Morning walks or runs is a good exercise too. The amount of benefits it can have is beyond one’s grasp.Lowering risk of a number of diseases like diabetes, arthritis, heart problems, depression and keeps stress away. It increases the flow of blood in the body. Improves lung capacity, boosts the immune system, reduces cholesterol, increases appetite. It also helps to control weight, after all nobody wants to look fat in current times.Besides, it develops muscles and tones up the body. A good night’s sleep is all one desires at the end of the day and morning walk makes that possible too.

One can form morning walk groups and socialize too. Or ask a family member to come along, it is a chance to know them better or maybe take a pet for a walk. And the moments with your surroundings.

So, clearly, A morning walk or a run isn’t that bad of an idea? In short, a mornin walk is a necessity in fast moving life of this century.

Stress-Buster : Music

Woke up late? Your bestie was absent? Had a fight with your boyfriend/girlfriend? You’ve had too much of emotions for a day? And everything’s going wrong. There is one thing to your rescue: Music.

Here’s what I like to do on a crappy day. I get into my pajamas – close the door to my room and forbid everyone from entering – plug in earphones – and sing loudly to the music. The songs I used to listen to two years ago and scream the lyrics like nobody’s listening. If I’m in the mood I dance too for two-three hours straight. It’s my happy ending to a terrible day.

 

Music releases a mood elevating hormone called as Dopamine. Urban dictionary states that Dopamine is ‘The kick ass chemical in your brain that makes you feel and do happy things… whatever they may be.’ so you get the idea right? Apparently, Dopamine gives you pleasure and that’s what music does, provides delight alike to joy of food, sleep, sex etc.

Furthermore, no occasion is complete without music. Weddings, parties, long drives don’t happen without plenty of music sprinkled all over it. Even funerals at some places do with dash of music. So after a day full of bullshit, music transports me to this serene place which helps to get a positive outlook on life. Anyway, music has always been there for everyone since times immemorial, No?
